Terms of Use & Service Agreement

Welcome to Shine & Go Cleaning ("the Company"). By accessing our website, booking our services, or engaging with us, you agree to comply with and be bound by the following Terms of Use and Service Agreement.
1. Scope of Services
The Company provides residential and commercial cleaning services. The specific scope of work, frequency, and pricing for each job will be agreed upon in writing (via email, booking form, or text) prior to the service commencement.
2. Access and Safety
  • Property Access: The client must provide the Company's cleaning team with access to the property at the scheduled time (e.g., via a key, lockbox, door code, or by being present).
  • Utilities: The client must ensure that utilities, including electricity and hot/cold running water, are fully functional and available during the service.
  • Safety & Hazards: The Company reserves the right to refuse service or leave the property if the environment is deemed unsafe, unsanitary, or hazardous (e.g., severe biohazards, aggressive pets, or structural safety issues).
3. Payment Terms
  • Residential Services: Payment is due upon completion of service via credit card or bank transfer.
  • Commercial Services: Invoices will be issued upon completion and are subject to Net 7 days payment terms.
  • Late Fees: Late payments may incur a fee of $25 or 1.5% on outstanding balances.
4. Cancellation and Rescheduling Policy
We understand that schedules change. To protect our staff’s livelihoods, we require:
  • Notice Period: A minimum of 24 hours notice is required to cancel or reschedule a booking.
  • Late Fee: Cancellations made with less than the required notice will incur a fee equal to 25% of the service cost.
  • Lockout Fee: If our cleaners arrive and cannot access the property, a 50% service fee will apply.
5. Limitation of Liability & Damages
  • Accidents & Wear/Tear: Our team takes the utmost care, but accidents can happen. The Company is not liable for damages caused by normal wear and tear, unstable or improperly secured items (e.g., loose mirrors, blinds, shelves), or pre-existing property damage.
  • Notification: Any claims for damage or missing items must be reported to the Company within 48 hours of the service completion.
  • Satisfaction Guarantee: If you are unsatisfied with a clean, notify us within 48 hours. We will return to reclean the problematic areas at no extra cost. We do not offer cash refunds.
6. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of Queensland Australia.
